James N. Frye
James Nervy Frye, 69, of Flint Hill died March 10,1971 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. He was a native of Sperryville, son of the late James R. Frye and Emma Pullen Frye.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rixie Virginia Frye; three sons, Howard E., James E. and Robert E. Frye, all of Flint Hill; four daughters, Mrs. Lucy Rutherford and Mrs. Ella Mae Steel, both of Huntly and Mrs. Emma Jane Clifton and Mrs. Sarah Foster, both of Front Royal; and 15 grandchildren. Also surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Berlie Atkins of Front Royal, Mrs. Bertha Tharpe of Amissville, Mrs. Arrie Tharpe, Rockville, Md., Mrs. Cora Fincham, Scrabble, Mrs. Maggie Atkins, Sperryville, and Mrs. Phoebe Frazier, Baltimore, Md. A funeral service was held Saturday eft the Turner Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. Jerry Campbell conducting the rites. Interment was in the Flint Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roland Welch, E. J. Welch, Larry Welch, Herbert Foster, Gavor Foster and Randolph Foster. 1
