fashioned like that of the bride. The bridesmaids, who wore powder blue dresses designed identically to that of the honor attendant, were Miss Lynn Craft of Jacksonville, Florida and Miss Sandra Wells of Saint Petersburg, Florida. Each carried a nosegay of yellow daisies.
Charles B. Wood, Sr. served his son as best man. Ushers were James Allen Ostrander of Lakeland, Florida and Gary Berg of Saint Petersburg.
The mother of the bride was dressed in a blue and white ensemble with white accessories while the bridegroom’s mother was costumed in lemon yellow with matching accessories. Both had corsages of yellow carnations.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
A Saturday evening rehearsal dinner was given by the parents of the bridegroom for the wedding party and guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Wood, Jr. will make their home in Barbers Point, Hawaii where the bridegroom is serving a tour of duty with the United States Coast Guard.
