The Amissville Rescue Squad responded to a call to the home of Mrs. Edna Canard Sunday afternoon and took her mother to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.

Amissville Fire Company was called to a chimney fire at the home of Albert Compton at Laurel Mills on Monday. Tuesday the company responded to a brush fire on Route 229 which was also attended by Culpeper Department.

Washington Fire Company went to a fire Thursday at the home of Jonas Alther.

Rappahannock Rescue Squad Sunday took an unidentified man from the roadway on Route 211 to Warren Memorial Hospital.

Flint Hill Rescue Squad on Friday took Mrs. Anna Woodward from home at Ben Venue to Warren Memorial Hospital.
