prayer for home missions. The “Girls in Action”, a newly organized group at the Church had charge of the Wednesday night service. The G.A.’s meet every Wednesday night at 7:30. Another newly organized group at the church is the Junior Choir. This is for children (boys and girls) between the ages of 6-13. Mrs. Millie Jenkins and Mrs. La Merle Williams are the directors. They meet at the church on Monday nights at 7 o’clock for practice. The Rev. Roy Mathena went to Falls Mills, Va. Tuesday to visit his mother, Mrs. Edna Mathena. She returned home with him on Thursday for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Williams visited Mrs. Clyde Ellington in Fredericksburg Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Butch Sealock of ^.P.I., Blacksburg, came home Monday to spend a quarter break vith Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock md Mr. and Mrs. James Irwin.
