like a trap to me. But it’s a trap we’re all getting into, along with the farmer. And what has all this got to do with organic gardening. Mr Judkins? Unfortunately, your article implies that even organic gardening is foolish. I’m sure you didn’t mean to indicate that there was any harm in a few of us simple, emotional souls growing our own food quite successfully without the use of artificial fertilizers or poisonous sprays. In fact, Mr. Judkins, you might find that the organic gardening movement, which is now spreading across the country in a mighty enthusiastic wave, might be the forerunner of a new way for all of us. And how much nicer it would be if VPI would give us a little help instead of sounding like a spokesman for the chemical industries. Miriam S. Harris
