Miscellaneous Shower
Mrs. Eddie Wayland was honored with a miscellaneous bridal shower Saturday night given by Mrs. Carson Johnson and Mrs. Cletus Clarke at Chestnut Cove, home of Mrs. Johnson in Sperryville. Thirty-two guests from the local area, Orange, Va. and Baltimore, Md. attended.

Worship Service will be held at the F.T. Baptist Church, Sunday, July 4 at 11 a.m.
Lawn Party Cancelled
The Fourth of July Lawn Party which has been an annual event at Willis Chapel Methodist Church, Huntly, will not be held this year. A spokesman for the church group expressed appreciation to all who have assisted with the event and attended the supper in past years lending support and insuring its success.
