I do not know what the situation is in Delaware, but here in the Old Dominion our Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries has no jurisdiction over salt water fishing. This obstacle would have to be hurdled, before consideratioin could be given to such a move. Apparently the Mayland move has been prompted by a need for more funds to operate Manning’s department. Having lived in Maryland for a few years back in the early 50’s, I know that alarge percentage; of Maryland hnglers limit their fishing to salt water. Manning’s proposal would even include crabbing, a popular pastime during the summer months.
