Sunset Vespers
The Reverend Dr. M. Jackson White will be the speaker of the opening Sunset Vesper Program at the Singing Tower in Luray, Virginia July 4. The Singing Tower is adjacent to the Luray Caverns. Dr. White is the minister of the Main Street Baptist Church in Luray, Va. Dr. White was born in Weston, W. Va. and reared on a farm in West Virginia. He received his schooling from Weston, West Virginia High School and Alderson-Broaddus Junior College in Phillipi, W. Va. He received a B. S. from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, a Th.M. in 1927 from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and a Ph D. from the same Seminary in 1934.
