Rappahannock Lions Club will have caged lions near the Rappahannock Library in the afternoon and at Avon Hail Lake between 7 and 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 4th. The Lions will be waiting for you to toss into their cage all the old eyeglasses you can feed them! Instead of throwing old eyeglasses (either lens or frames - or both) in the trash, please bring them with you to Washington, Virginia on Sunday. Old eyeglasses are used in the Lions International sight conservation and work for the visually handicapped program.
