Mike Smoot was in good form Thursday when he struck out eleven men from The Plains. At bat Mike hit three doubles and drove in four runs.
Curt Sisk hit a homer and the entire team did well at bat to produce a final 10-2 victory. Fielding by the Amissville players was also very good. This game placed Amissville in a tied position with The Plains for the Fauquier County PeeWee Baseball League title. Tonight the locals will meet the Warrenton Little Chicks team on the Amissville diamond beginning at 6:30 p.m.
