Edward Franklin Frazier of Flint Hill operating a 1963 International farm tractor owned by Roland Welch of Flint Hill was struck by a 1970 Plymouth operated by Haywood Lee Turner of Washington, Va. According to Trooper Bun tin, the tractor was being driven on the highway without lights. Turner was meeting another vehicle and was unable to see the tractor and stop in time to avoid striking it. Damage estimated at $500 was incurred to the auto. Mrs. Turner, a passenger with her husband, was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal by Flint Hill Rescue Squad where she was treated for a minor leg injury and released. Frazier was charged with reckless driving.

Two traffic crashes occurred Sunday afternoon on local highways, one involving a motorcycle. They were investigated by Trooper J. B. Willis.
