Those wishing to bring a family or group picnic may do so and eat on the hills near the court house which will be in full view of the program. Mr. Carrigan requests that the public remove all bottles and papers from the grounds. Trash containers will be available.
Starting about seven o’clock in the evening, a series of live programs will be conducted around the lake. The Rappahannock Hunt will demonstrate the handling of the hound pack. Other activities will include an antique fire fighting demonstration and some old automobiles; plus a demonstration by the Lions Club.
Band music and singing surging from loud speakers will fill the air up until the first rocket blast and the salute to the Flag. The Historical Society with
