CROWDS OF people responded enthusiastically to the four night benefit carnival sponsored by Sperryville Fire Company which took place last week. The Thursday night parade was one of the largest ever held by the organization and spectators turned out in full force.
Capping the event was the awarding of prizes Saturday night and H.C. Witten of Culpeper was the fortunate recipient of the 1972 Ford Maverick given away.
