While I know that rain is the condensation 01 moisture in the air, said moisture due to evaporation, that the sun does not draw up these creatures into clouds; I think, where then, do they come from? That has never been explained to me to my complete satisfaction.
And memory, how does it function, why do things you strive to recall elude you while other things POP into your mind that are of no importance at that time? The other day, while hoeing in my garden, this little poem came out of nowhere.
“I never speak of love to her; who holds my heart,
For she may love me not at all; or just in part.
If I spoke she might go, in haste, away.
If I am silent she might stay.”
Then I began to wonder if we ever tell God that we love Him, if we ever thank Him for permitting us to live in His beautiful world. The Christ said it is not necessary to pray long-winded prayers, that the Father knows your needs even before you ask. Why not just say, “Father, I love You, let me feel Your nearness.” You will. Yes.
