A RIDING CLINIC was held from July 16-22 at Bellevue Farm Riding School, Washington. This was the first of two clinics being held this summer, and was directed toward riding in horse shows. Emphasis was placed upon style, manners, performance and equitation. There were two hours of lecture on proper turn out of horse and rider, horse show rules and proper show procedures. Mrs. Joanne Weakley taught the clinic and was assisted by ^liss Ann Baumgardner. The last day a small show was held for the riders participating in the clinic. The second clinic will be held in August and will be directed toward cross country riding and hunting.
