Mr. Johnson, in his letter to the Board of Supervisors a copy of which was in last week’s paper, was SO RIGHT. Agnes did clean the streams and they were beautiful. In some places where debris piled against fences, from beer cans to kitchen ranges, it looks like a land fill.
Agnes should have made everyone realize what they are doing to our streams and HOPEFULLY make everyone aware of the need to work with the Board of Supervisors in passing and ENFORCING an ordinance making it unlawful to throw trash in our streams.
This is our HOME, our COUNTY, our COUNTRY. Each citizen has. the responsibility to do his best to protect it against abuse.
