Bessie Jenkins
A funeral service for Mrs. Bessie Jenkins of Washington, Va. was held Monday at the Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. James Adkins. Burial was in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Jenkins, 77, widow of Clarence Lewis Jenkins, died Friday, July 21 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal. A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Catherine * Jenkins. She was a member^ of Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church. , She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Dodson of Washington, Va. and several nieces and nephews.
