SUPT. Robert R. Jacobsen has announced that two types of annual passes to Federal Recreation Areas are now available at Shenandoah National Park Headquarters, east of Luray.

The Golden Age Passport is being issuedlvithout charge to all persons who have reached 62. The permit must be applied for in person and verification of age, such as a motor vehicle operator’s permit or a signed affidavit, must be presented.

The non - transferable permit is valid for the calendar year, and affords its owner and any person accompanying him in a single, private noncommercial vehicle free passage ' into any designated Federal Recreation Area at which automobile entrance fees are charged.

The permit also entitles its owner to a 50 percent discount on special recreation user fees, as for camp
