Mrs. Settle

A funeral service for Jessie Wess Settle of Reva was held Monday at the Geest Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper conducted by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Burial was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton. -

Mrs. Settle, 58, wife of Willie Qscar Settle, died January 5, 1973 at the District Nursing Home in Warrenton. She was a native of Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Wess and Carrie Jenkins.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. George Ross of Reva; one son, Oscar Settle of Culpeper; a sister, Mrs. James Jenkins of Culpeper; two brothers, Eugene Jenkins and Lucian Jenkins, and two halfbrothers, Charles William Jenkins and Bobby Ray Jenkins, all of Culpeper; three half-sisters, Lois Marie Menefee of Rixeyville, Doris Mae Yowell and Ruth Duncan, both of Culpeper; and two grandchildren. □

Mrs. Smith

Mrs. Corrie Lee Smith of Manassas died January 2, 1973 in Prince William Hospital. She was a native of Rappahannock, the daughter of the late Turner Ashby Cloud and Roberta Mills Cloud. She was 76, and had lived in Manassas for the past 15 years.
