Rappahannock Ski Area in Harris Hollow opened Tuesday for business following a cold weekend which enabled them to make artificial snow on the slopes. Yesterday the area reported a three foot base with three inches of powered snow and suing conditions were good to excellent. Two lifts were in operation and by the weekend it is anticipated that the area will be in 60% operation.
