Library fund started
NED JOHNSON; JIM-BILL FLETCHER, Tommy Eastham, Bill Fannon, Jr., John Lyle, James Jamieson and Wade H. Massie III are founders of a fund to aid the Rappahannock Library in its search for needed additional operating revenue.
Their hope is that this action will stimulate citizen financial support for the Library.
The fund will work in the following manner:
All money contributions received by the Library after June 1, 1973 will be matched dollar for dollar by a contribution from the fund until the fund is exhausted.
“Thus, money gifts made to the Library will have double value and accomplish twice as much in helping to make the Library function adequately for children and adults alike,” said a fund spokesman. □
