Collins and daughter Michelle of Laural, Md., were weekend guests of Mrs. Collins’ parents Mr. and Mrs. William A. Curtis. Capt. and Mrs. Collins left to visit Col. and Mrs. Rufus Frost at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, N.C. Michelle remained for a week’s visit with her grandparents.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Faulconer and daughter Carol of Orange spent Saturday night and Sunday with Mrs. W.M. Fletcher.
Mrs. R. A. Baines and sons spent Monday in Staunton where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wenner. Mrs. Wenner, an aunt of Mrs. Baines, was hospitalized with a hip injury.
Mr. and Mrs. Ashton Burke of Warrenton were dinner guests Tuesday of last week of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke on Blue Ridge Avenue. Their guest from Wednesday until Friday was Mrs. Elizabeth Shank of Rileyville. Weekend guests were Jennings Burke and Miss Marilyn Crawford of Alexandria. Monday the Charles Burkes with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Vaughan of Fredericksburg were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Smedleyin Luray.
The Hon. and Mrs. Charles Elder of Purcell, Oka. were Tuesday overnight guests and dinner guests at the Wayside Inn in Middletown of Mr. and Mrs. J. Newbill Miller.
