The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries at a meeting held in Richmond, Virginia, on May 4, 1973, adopted the following amended or new regulations pursuant to Sections 29-125, 29126 and 29-127 of the Code of Virginia, to become effective July 1, 1973.
CHAPTER 16. Raccoon
R16-1. Except as otherwise provided by local legislation, it shall be lawful to hunt raccoon in all counties east of the Blue Ridge Mountains from September 1 through March 31, both dates inclusive.
