R6-8. The bag limit for deer shall be one a day, two a license year, bucks only, in the counties of Mathews, Nansemond (that portion east of a line established by Acts 1950, c. 83, as amended by Acts 1958, c. 40) and Pittsylvania (east of Southern Railroad) and in the cities of Chesapeake and Virginia Beach. R8-10. It Shall be unlawful to hunt deer at any time in the counties of Arlington, Buchanan, Dickenson (east of Route 80) and Fairfax (in that section closed to all hunting). R6-11. It shall be unlawful to hunt deer with dogs in the counties of Amherst (west of U.S. Route 29), Bedford, Campbell (west of Southern Railroad), Fairfax, Franklin, Henry, Loudoun, Nelson (west of Route 151), Northampton, Patrick and Pittsylvania (west of Southern Railroad), and on the Apple Manor Wildlife Management Area.
