As recalled by Miller, plans were drawn up some time ago for a central sewage system, but recently, the Water Control Board dropped these plans from its priority list because of lack of interest. According to one estimate, it would have been cheaper to “buy up Sperryville” than to have, put in the expensive type of sewage treatment system the state required.
Newbill Miller asked Dr. LeGarde how many businesses would be affected by his department’s new attitude toward temporary health permits.
