“My legislation, a Concurrent Resolution, is identical to the Randolph amendment approved by the Senate June 4. As proposed, the Congress would urge the states to lower speeds on Federal-aid highways that are now in excess of 55 miles by 10 miles per hour or to 55, whichever is greater,” Broyhill said.
“ It is my intention to take whatever action is necessary to bring this measure to the Floor of the House as soon as possible. This includes contacting every House member personally.” □
