Amissville Rescue Squad took Michelle Shephard to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton, on December 17, The same day Mrs. Odessa Ficklin was taken from her home to that of her sister, Miss Phoebe Green. The Amissville Fire unit responded to a flue fire at the Ficklin home that day.
Flint Hill Rescue Squad took Mrs. Frank Parker from home near Ben Venue to Culpeper Memorial Hospital on December 16. December 19 Virgil Atkins was taken from home near Ben Venue to Warren Memorial Hospital.
Sperryville Rescue Squad took Kathy Alther from a sledding accident at the home of Frank Tabler to Culpeper Memorial Hospital December 18. □
