THE Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) is improving its services to Virginia farmers,? and both , immediate and long-range directions for federal farm programs administered by the agency were discussed at a three-day state conference in Roanoke.
Mahlon K. Rudy, executive director of the State ASCS Office, said that while Virginia ASCS workers have an excellent record of providing good service to farmers, “we can and will continue to upgrade our services and information programs for Agriculture in the State.”
Attending the conference from Rappahannock County were James F. Massie and James W. Coates.
