er Supervisors said they had intended “no exceptions,” only “interpretations.”
Baumgardner then asked if the subdivision of lots allowed for tracts of record in 1962 would have to dedicate frontage for a road right-of-way 50 feet wide— or 25 feet on each side.
All of the Supervisors agreed that new road standards would have to be met, and that owners on each side would have to dedicate 25 feet to the centerline.
The question of road requirements for 25-lot subdivisions was then taken up, and Newbill Miller said it was his intention that “25 acre lots would be Unrestricted.”
Commonwealth’s Attorney George Davis objected to this, but Miller still asked the other Supervisors to consider a “standing exception,” until an amendment can be taken up,
BAUMGARDNER pointed out that for gravel roads, which are acceptible for 25-acre subdivisions, only a 20 foot of right-of-way would be allowed.
