capture all the first places in the meet. They did just that until the last event, the two mile race. In tough competition with a Page girl who
was state champion in tfie event last year, Rappahannock’s best two miler ran a close second.
The varsity team consists of 28 talented ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth graders. Coach Ann Spieker said her freshmen girls are a green but talented group who should do well this season and improve in the seasons to come, giving RCHS good prospects for future years.
