Dixie Evans is one of Rappahannock's public school teachers, but her classes are held in living rooms and kitchens throughout the county. Her students range from infants and toddlers to five year olds.
She’s a child development specialist and works with preschoolers who’ve been classified as "developmentally delayed", aiming at preparing her charges for entrance into the educational mainstream.
