Mrs. Hilda Burke celebrated the thirteenth birthday of Robert Burke with a small party attended by a few of his friends on Thursday evening.
The Rev. and Mrs. William M. Hargett, Patricia, Nancy, Michele and Katharine of Centreville, Md., called on Miss Annie Miller Almond on Tuesday afternoon.
Ashton Burke of Warrenton was the Saturday luncheon guest of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke.
Mrs. Henry Miller of Luray visited Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett on Sunday. Mrs. Donald Glick of Port Republic failed on Mrs. Moffett during Monday afternoon. Her Tuesday luncheon guest was her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Brooke Moffett, of Norfolk.
Miss Patty Penaranda of Fairfax arrived Friday to spend the weekend with her grandfather, Stant Weaver. Her brother, Mark Penaranda, was a Saturday overnight guest of Mr. Weaver and Mike Hicks of Culpeper was a frequent visitor on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, Mr. Weaver attended a birthday dinner given in honor of his sister, Mrs. Jesse Hawkins, by Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Thornhill in Boston.
Mrs. Kathleen Ricketts of Las Vegas, Nev., is visiting here with her children, Chuck, Eddie, and Doug Ricketts and Mrs. Paul Burke. Mrs. Ricketts is planning to return to Las Vegas around May 2.
Mr. and Mrs. Rannie Burke and sons of Manassas visited Mrs. Gabe Burke over the weekend. * Other callers were Mrs. Kathleen Ricketts of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Burke and Jeff.
Mrs. Henry M. Keyser returned home on Tuesday after spending ten days at the home of her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Keyser Jr., and sons, in Clifton. On Wednesday, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman W. Jacobsen, brother and sister-in-law of Mrs. Keyser, visited enroute from Florida to their home in South Paris, Maine.

Robert H. “Dick” Jenkins of Washington, Corrections Officer at Rappahannock Jail, has tendered his resignation effective April 17.
Jenkins, who has been with the Rappahannock Sheriffs Department for two and a half years, ahs accepted a position with the Prince William County Police Department.
