The Jinny Beyer QuiltShow at The Rush River Company in Washington, Virginia was s<^ successful that an encore fBkplay is planned for this coming Saturday, April 8th from 12 noon to 4 p.m. It is estimated that more than 1,500 people waited patiently to get a glimpse of Mrs. Beyer’s spectacular quilts, among them “The Ray of Light” which just received the grand prize in the Great American Quilt Contest sponsored by Good Housekeeping Magazine. There were 10,000 entries in the contest, but none of the visitors last Saturday had any trouble understanding whv Jinny Beyer's design and craftsmanship was judged best.
