Dialing
To the editor:
Many months ago the Rappahannock Womens Gub and the Rappahannock League For Environmental Protection worked together circulating petitions for toll free dialing in Rappahannock. We secured the required amount of signatures from the subscribers on the 937 and 675 exchanges. The petitions were then handcarried to the State Corporation Commission in Richmond by the Rappahannock League For Environmental Protection.
We are now in the next phase of the survey and the Rappahannock Womens Gub would like to encourage everyone on the 937 and 675 exchanges to vote YES for toll free dialing between the exchanges. In the past week we have received post cards from our telephone companies requiring a yes or no vote for the extra service. We urge you to please vote and return your postage paid cards promptly.
