Club Installs
Officers
The Rappahannock Women’s Club held its installation dinner on March 28 at the Randolph House in Culpeper with 25 members attending.
The newly elected officers installed are:
Joyce Andrews, President;
Lynne Baines, Vicepresident;
Beth DeBergh, Corresponding Secretary;
Delores Dalton, Recording Secretary;
Betty Settle, Treasurer.
The president, Joyce Andrews, has been active in the club for several years. She recently served as cochairperson for the fashion show and just completed a term as corresponding secretary. Also active in other community affairs, she is currently serving as Hampton District Chairman for the Cancer Crusade. Mrs. Andrews, before assuming the duties of a full time homemaker, was an airline stewardess. She lives with her husband, Roger, and 4 year old son, Jonathan, in Peyton Farms near Washington.
During the evening, social chairman Susan Henry presented out-going president, Karen Bear, a silver bowl in appreciation of her leadership during the past year.
Preceeding the dinner a short business meeting was held. The next regular meeting will be April 25 at the home of Vicki Eastham at Red Hill Farm, Amissville.
