Dr. Carroll Quaintance was a guest of Albert Johnston of Darian, Conn., at the 56th annual dinner of the New York Patent Law Association at the Waldolf Astoria in New York City Saturday. Mrs. Quaintance visited her sister, Mrs. Richard O. Smith in Alowav N. J.
Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Griffith, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Williams and granddaughter Leigh Stanfield of Front Royal were callers Saturday night of Mrs. Nina B. Brown.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Thornton III and children, Philip and Felicia of Denver, Col. are visiting Mrs. Frances Thornton and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hudson in Culpeper while Mr. Thornton is here on business.
Mrs. George W. Hawkins was a houseguest for several days this week of Mr. and Mrs. Fred H. Codding and family in Fairfax.
Dinner guests Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and Fred were Mr. and Mrs. Francis Updike and Suzanne of Culpeper and Mrs. B. M. Varner. Mrs. John R. Hudson of Luray was a guest last Tuesday of her aunt, Mrs. Virginia Lewis.
