The Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Washington Fire and Rescue Squads is seeking donations of baked goods —pies, cakes, c»>okies, etc. —to sell at their food stand at the annual Washington carnival scheduled this year for Wednesday. August 23, through Saturday, August 26.
For more information on donations of food, money, or to help at the food stand, call 675-3608. Baked goods may be taken directly to the food stand any night of the carnival.
Members of the Ladies' Auxiliary are asked to meet at the carnival grounds Tuesday evening, August 22.
Jenkins Reunion
There will be a reunion of the family and friends of George and Luemma Jenkins Wo»>dard at the Recreation Center in Washington on Sunday, August 20, beginning at 11:00 a.m. All are requested to bring a picnic lunch.
