Thursday evening supper guests of Miss Mary Miller Wood were the Rev. and Mrs. Frank Cale of Culpeper.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke of Culpeper called on his grandmother, Mrs. Guy Burke, last Monday. Wednesday luncheon guests of Mrs. Burke were her greatgrandson, Richie Burke, and friend, Jeff Dare, of Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke of Culpeper visited Wednesday evening. Trenton Burke returned Monday for lunch with Mrs. Burke.

Mrs. Arthur Vaughan of Fredericksburg was a houseguest of her brother-inlaw and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke, from Friday until Tuesday. Mrs. Vaughan’s grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walsh of Chevy Chase, Md., visited Sunday evening.

Mrs. Connoly Bedell, Catherine and Virginia of Ft. Smith, Ark., returned to the home of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher following a trip to Canada with Mrs. Harold Faulkner of Orange. Mrs. Bedell and daughters returned to their home in Ft. Smith Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Manson spent Sunday with Mrs. Manson’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Manson in Perry, W. Va.

Miss Nancy Buntin left Sunday for Warm Springs where she will resume her teaching position in the Bath County School System.

Mrs. Barbara Slack of Baltimore, Md., was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark recently for a few days.

Mrs. Sarah Brown visited Mrs. Melody G. Settle of Amissville last Friday.

Paul Butler of Boston called on his uncle, Stant Weaver, Tuesday morning.

Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Gabe Burke were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alther, Roy Jr. and Missy of Sperryville and Mrs. Ada Fincham.

C. J. Miller Jr. had as his guests for dinner Monday evening at the Teepee in Sperryville, his daughers, Mrs. Frances Wood of Atlanta and Mrs. Louise Vaughan of Connecticut, Mrs. Eva Smith of Flint Hill, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Sperryville and Ms. Diane Bruce. Joining Mr. Miller and Mrs. Vaughan Tuesday evening for dinner there were Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Price of Arlington.
