Senior citizens 60 years of age and over who live in Rappahannock county can obtain a senior discount card which provides a discount on goods or services when the card is presented to a participating merchant.
A $1.00 contribution is requested to cover the cost of the photo I.D. card. Proof of age is required. Cards will be distributed on Friday, August 18 at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington, Va. from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 23 at the Area Agency on Aging office located in the Lord Culpeper Building, 401 S. Main Street in Culpeper, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
