Purged
Rappahannock Registrar Mary Cleverley has just completed a purge of the voting roster in the county, and a total of 58 names have been removed from the list. This leaves a total of 2522 eligible voters in Rappahannock.
The names of those voters who have not exercised their privilege to vote for four consecutive years have been removed. There were names taken from the roster in every precinct except Chester Gap where none were removed leaving the total of 197 intact.
In other areas the purgt was: Hint Hill 4 removet leaving 383; Washingtoi purged 18 leaving 591 registered; Amissville lost ' with 464 remaining Sperryville also lost 9 leavinj 463 while Woodville lost II leaving a total of 470.
