rightfully earn high praise. Excellence is the minimum goal for the Texas Boys Choir member in everything he does. From the moment the boy passes his initial audition, he adopts as a second home the Choir’s spacious facility at Fort Worth. Here he is given guidance and instruction to enable him to pursue excellence, not only in music, but in every aspect of his life, from personal grooming habits to intellectual pursuits.
It does not stop there—the second element is variety. For nearly two of its three decades, the boys have included non-traditional presentations in their programs. They come on stage fully costumed for musical extravaganzas. The choirs expansive, modern wardrobe contains over a thousand complete costume outfits.
