His widow, Nellie F. Dodson Nicholson, formerly of Viewtown, survives him, along with three sons, Edward Jr. also of Stephens City, Tunny G. of Powhatan and William D. of Gilroy, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Dodson of Winchester, Mrs. Dorothy Nichols of Stephens City and Mrs. Juanita Scott of Fresno, Calif.; 15 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Louise Corbin of Washington, D. C. and a brother. Nelson Nicholson of Bright wood.
A funeral was held last Wednesday at Omphs Funeral Home conducted by Dr. E. T. Clark and the Rev. Thornton Hartley. Interment was in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Smith
Services for Warren Lee Smith, 27, of Rixeyville were conducted Tuesday at the Moser Funeral Home Chapel in Warrenton by the Rev. Ray Crockett of Jeffersonton. Burial was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens at Jeffersonton.
Mr. Smith died July 19, 1979, following an automobile accident in Warrenton. He was a former resident of Sperryville. . Survivors include his parents, David and Virginia Smith of the Northern Virginia area; foster parents. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Jenkins of Culpeper who reared him since infancy; a brother, Joseph Smith of MadisOn; four foster sisters, Mrs. Gertie May of Culpeper. Mrs. Peggy Bradley of Zirconia, N. C., Misses Tammy R. and Sandra L. Jenkins, both of Culpeper; three foster brothers, Robert H. Jenkins Jr. of Manassas, Steven C. Jenkins and Timothy R. Jenkins, both of Culpeper.
