Tournament
The 158th annual Jousting Tournament will be held Saturday, August 18, at Natural Chimneys Regional Park in Mount Solon. More than 40 horsemen will gather at 2 p.m. to parade their colors past the watchful eye of the towering chimneys into the heat of battle. The Natural Chimneys with their resemblance to a medieval castle provide a romantic setting for the day’s activities which include barbecued chicken and country ham dinners, craft sales, gam£s and bluegrass music. The park is located 20 miles from Exit 60 on 1-81, only a few minutes from Staunton and Harrisonburg via Route 42.
