Miss Kathy E. Dwyer of Sperryville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James S. Dwyer, became the bride of Kenneth L. Yoder of Lancaster, Pa. on Saturday, June 23, 1979. The marriage was performed at one thirty o’clock in the Thornton’s Gap Regular Baptist Church, Sperryville, by the Rev. Jesse Yoder of Dover, Del., uncle of the bridegroom, assisted by the Rev. A1 Huyard of Luray.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Yoder of Milford, Del. The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, David M. Dwyer of Sperryville. Her gown of off-white linen with a square neckline and short sleeves was made by her mother. The crocheted lace which accented the neckline and sleeves was made by and worn by her grandmother. Her fingertip veil of nylon was trimmed in hand crocheted edging and she carried a white mother-ofpearl Bible covered with yellow sweetheart roses and babies breath.

Miss Sonia Musselman of Brazil, a college classmate, was maid of honor. She woie a yellow dress and carried long-stemmed yellow roses. Miss Cindy Cummins of Sperryville was bridesmaid. Her dress was a yellow floral print and she carried a bouquet of daisies.

Dr. Donald Yoder of Cooperstown, N. Y. was best man for his brother and Joseph Walsh of Rheems. Pa., friend of the bridegroom, was groomsman. Ushers included Samuel Dwyer, brother of the bride, and Kenneth Shade of Charlottesville, cousin of the bride.

The church was decorated with baskets of daisies and black-eyed Susans. Connie Richards of Harrisonburg was pianist. John Miller of Lancaster, friend of the bridegroom was soloist and a duet was presented by Mr. and Mrs. David Hertzler of Pickle Lake, Ontario.

A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David M. Dwyer near Sperryville.

Following a wedding trip the oouple will live in Lancaster.
