Jenkins

Frances Virginia Gray Jenkins, 18, of Sperryville died July 22, 1979 at her residence. She was born November 4, 1960 in Fauquier County, the daughter of Helen Fincham Gray of Washington, Va. and the late Walter Gray. She was the wife of James Clayton Jenkins, Sr.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, James Clayton Jenkins, Jr. of Sperryville; a brother, Jerry Lee Gray of Washington; three half sisters, Mary McFarland of Washington, Patricia Brown of Fairfax and Barbara Jean Carter of Alexandria; three half-brothers, Irving and Donald Gray of Alexandria and Ralph Gray of Catlett; and a grandmother, Mrs. James Fincham of Washington.

A funeral service was held Wednesday at the Washington Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. David Moore and the Rev. Charles Cliendinst. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery.

Clore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
