Bridge Club
Mrs. Brown Miller entertained the Sperryville Bridge Club at her home Friday evening. Guests were Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. E. A. McNear, Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Hugh Chrisnian and Mrs. T. J. Pillar.
Benefit Dinner
A country ham and chicken dinner will be served July 28 at the Union Hall on Chester Street, Front Royal, starting at noon. Prices are S3 for chicken dinners and $4 for ham dinners.
Proceeds will benefit the King and Queen Rally of the Macedonia Baptist Church, Flint Hill, sponsored by Mrs. Mary Jordan.
