Whereas, Edward Moffett (Ned) Jones, was a dedicated and devoted member of the Washington Baptist Church for many years, and served the church as deacon, treasurer and Sunday School teacher for more than thirty years.

Whereas, Ned was loved, respected and admired by alt of his fellow deacons who now desire to honor him by this resolution.

Now, therefore, be it •resolved that we express our deep feeling of loss because of Ned's death, and it is further resolved that a copy of this resolution be sent to his family, be placed in the official minutes of this church, and be published in the Rappahannock News.
