Bankston said that persons witnessing a violation should • know the time and place the incident occured and be able to describe the individuals involved and their vehicle with license number, if possible.
Bankston emphasized that witnesses should never attempt to apprehend the violator. “Report the details to me or to the nearest law enforcement officials as soon as possible,” Bankston concluded.
