The Rappahannock School Board approved at Tuesday’s meeting a questionnaire on alcohol and other drugs that will go home this week to parents. Developed by board members Robert Eastham, Alan Stokes and Charles Eldred, the questionnaire attempts to determine community attitudes on the scope of the drug problem in Rappahannock’s public schools. Polling parents is a part of the school board’s review of the current drug policy.
The questionnaire includes six questions and space for additional comments. In a cover letter accompanying the form that begins “your children are in danger!” the school board promises that chairman Beverly Massie will burn all the questionnaires as soon as the results are tabulated.
