Educational Program ;> In the revised policy, the superintendent is charged with developing a comprehensive drug and alcohol education program to be implemented at all grade levels. He is to give the school bord a summary description of the program at the beginning of the school term and a report on its effectiveness at the end of the year.
The superintendent and principals must al§o arrange in-service training programs for teachers, covering state and federal drug laws, effects of drugs and symptoms of drug abuse. Assistance of state and federal law enforcement officials and volunteer medical personnel is to be used as part of the inservice program.
